Optimizing the data flow between mobile robots, their cloud storage and control modules at Capra Robotics ApS

Capra Robotics creates mobile robotic platforms especially suited for outdoor or outdoor/indoor use. Our Vision is "To Create Mobile Robots That Help People Everywhere". Our solution allows our customers to focus on their specific application providing them with a better business case.

When operating mobile devices, there is a huge tendency and wish to collect as much data as possible, to be able to analyze performance and new events. This is also true for mobile robots that are currently connected to the cloud using a 4G LTE modem setup. At Capra we would like to look into how this huge amount of data can be streamed in an efficient way to the cloud for analysis and storage.

Besides the need to ensure a safe connection, there are constraints in the bandwidth, so different compressing methods could be looked at. And also what data are needed fast and which can be transferred, when the robots is in a stable mode – like docking/charging.

All needed equipment will be made available.

At Capra Robotics we are team players, and you will have all the sparring you need. You will have ample opportunity to “nerd” and bring your suggestions and/or new ways to solve the challenges to the table.
