Aircraft Systems Engineer (f/m) at Airbus

A new position of A ircraft Systems Engineering (f/m) has arisen in Airbus Commercial, Toulouse. This position is opened in one of the pioneering teams of Airbus systems design office, to work on systems for Airbus commercial aircraft families, in a context of accelerated innovation and digitalization. You will join a dynamic team whose mission is to drive and engage the Airbus Systems Community to achieve a global optimum in the design, development and integration of the aircraft systems, defining and implementing new standards. You will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders such as systems architects, system designer teams, ground and flight test teams, program chief engineering teams. For the development of a whole set of aircraft systems, your main activities will consist in: Defining the Verification and Validation strategy Analyzing the aircraft systems architectures and proposing the most relevant testing strategy Managing the requirements validation with stakeholders, the requirements cascade between aircraft and systems levels, and evolutions all along the development Performing V&V activities at multi-systems level: Requirement Validation, Design Verification (reviews, simulations, analysis), Product Verification and Validation (simulator or flight test requests definition & follow-up, participation to simulator test sessions), Maturity of design and product: definition of Operational Scenarios and robustness tests For ongoing development on long-range aircraft, your main responsibilities will be to: Support multi-systems and systems V&V managers in the definition of their own V&V management, Ensure relevant V&V activities to secure on-time and on-quality development Deliver V&V requests (test requests...), analyze and compile associated evidences Coordinate and monitor systems integration on lab and flight tests facilities You will have the following skills and experience: Good knowledge or experience in Systems Engineering: Requirement-Based Engineering (RBE), including requirement management tools (DOORS or equivalent) Knowledge or experience in (complex) systems development (ideally avionics systems) and/or systems integration tests Knowledge in Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) (use of SysML, UML tools like CAMEO / SIMBA or equivalent) would be appreciated Ability to connect and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, in a multicultural environment Strong leadership & communication skills Curiosity and innovative mindset, strong ability to synthesis Advanced level in english and french Master degree in engineering, in aeronautics and/or system engineering#LI-AS1 This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growthBy submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
